We present contemporary Swiss dance in Greece
The dance piece «Warning for Contemplation Sections» has been selected for the 12th Akropoditi Dance Festival 2025 - Greece, an international vibrant platform for performing arts.
«Warning for Contemplation Sections» is a choreographed manifesto by Elenita Queiróz that deals with resistance, exhaustion and transformation. The dance piece confronts societal constraints, particularly those imposed on women, and navigates the contradictions of motherhood, work and the physical toll. Through a visceral movement language and epic music, it critiques inequalities while celebrating collective vulnerability as an act of defiance.
Performance, workshop and video screening:
For mediation and exchange activities, dancer Elenita Queiróz will lead a three-day workshop alongside the performance, in which she will share her artistic methodology with local and international dancers. In addition, a video documentary about Elenita’s creative process will be shown during the festival.
This opportunity makes it possible to reach a global audience and engage in an artistic exchange at the same time. It helps to increase the international reach of contemporary dance from Eastern Switzerland and to deepen important conversations about mental health, feminism and resilience.
We need support for the travel costs!
Together with Elenita, the three dancers Léa Thomen, Mara Natterer and Charlotte Mathiessen will also be traveling to Greece.
