«Bengali Faces» My first photo exhibition
These photographs from the Bengali world, exemplify the hard lives of the people both in their simple home conditions and in the workplace. Despite their difficulties, their expressions of dignity and respect reach out to the viewer.

We view each picture from the photographer’s perspective coupled with our own perception.
No photograph of a stranger can ever reveal the whole person to us.

The pictures are presented as large format quality prints on Fine Art paper in high-end display cases with museum glazing.
The vernissage will take place on May 4, 2017 at 7 pm. After this date, entry to the exhibition is free of charge for the whole of May.

A huge personal commitment and financial capital is needed to present a photographic exhibition of this outstanding quality. In return for your help, I’m offering some unique rewards (See below)
The total budget required is 10,500 euro. I’m raising 4000 euro myself. I’m asking for your support to raise the remaining amount.
Any profit made from the exhibition will be used to help the people in the photographs. Together we can help them start a new life with the prospect of a better future. For relatively small amounts of money, we can send a child to school or finance the set up of an independent business.

Dies ist oft schon mit relativ kleinen Summen möglich.
