Book .quantum

Letztes Update in diesem Jahr, bevor es am Samstag im ICE nach Hamburg und weiter nach Amrum in die Winterpause geht:

Ich arbeite intensiv an den Vorbereitungen für die Ausstellung im Januar in der Photobastei.

Zwischen 22. Januar und 8. Februar 2026 findet die Ausstellung zum Buch «.quantum» in der Photobastei Zürich statt.

Die Vernissage zur Eröffnung am Donnerstag, 22. Januar 2026 um 18 Uhr ist gleichzeitig auch die Buchvernissage.

Am Sonntag, 1. Februar um 14 Uhr findet eine Buchlesung ebenfalls in der Fotobastei Zürich statt.

An dieser Stelle ist es mir ein grosses Anliegen, die anonymen Spender:innen direkt anzusprechen: Es würde mich sehr freuen, wenn ihr zu der Ausstellung kommen würdet oder zu der Vernissage oder Lesung.

Ich danke euch allen für die grossartige Unterstützung und hoffe, viele von euch in Zürich antreffen zu können!

Endlich: Die fertigen Bücher sind in Zizers eingetroffen und die Bücherkartons haben ihren vorläufigen Platz auf dem Dachboden gefunden!

Wer noch ein Weihnachtsgeschenk sucht: Es liegen noch ein paar Exemplare auf dem Dachboden bereit :-)

Die signierten Bücher finden wie besprochen den Weg zu euch. Falls einige E-Mails von mir diesbezüglich nicht bei den Empfänger:innen angekommen sind, kontaktiert mich gerne, ob ihr die Bücher per Post oder persönlich an der Vernissage oder Lesung in Empfang nehmen möchtet.

In Kürze folgt noch ein Update zu der Vernissage (22. Januar 2026, 18 Uhr) und Lesung (1. Februar 2026, 14 Uhr), die in der Photobastei Zürich stattfinden.

Dear supporters, I hope you won’t hold my somewhat longer «update break» against me. I’ve been working hard on the book over the last few weeks. Many more points have been added: Practically all the texts have been typed and inserted, some «dot pictures» have been added and at the moment I’m focusing on editing the many Rolleiflex photos. To those of you who are waiting for your postcard or the subject selection: please be patient; as soon as the book is in production, I will concentrate on the realization of your rewards! I’m really looking forward to the book, I hope you are too! More updates to follow! :-)

Dear supporters The printing date for the book has already been set: printing will start in the week beginning September 22; the book will then be produced from the loose printed sheets from October 6! If everything goes according to plan, the pre-ordered books will arrive at the end of October.

I am overwhelmed and speechless, we did it!!!

… and a good two days earlier than the deadline demanded. I dared to embark on this adventure and you all actively supported me! Even though I didn’t have a clue about anything at the beginning, even though I’m so untalented at networking. But you made up for my deficits and gave me such great support. You made donations, told others about the project via Instagram, WhatsApp, Telegram, email, post or verbally and got them on board. Thanks to you, I can have the book produced.

You have each added more dots and quanta to the good world puzzle. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart!!!

The donation target has been reached to (now even over) 3/4 percent. That’s great! We are now full of energy for the final spurt! A big THANK YOU!!!

The online news portal «GRheute» has included the book «.quantum» in the «Culture» section. I hope this will make it a little better known. Dear supporters, please remind your friends and acquaintances about it. We still have a good third to go!

The wemakeit team has included the «.quantum» project in the «Our favorites» category! They wrote: «A good reason to be a little proud and tell everyone about it». I’m delighted about this confirmation and of course hope that it will give a further boost to more supporters! :-)

Dear supporters A good 1/3 of the target amount has been reached, great!!! Today, Thursday, an article about the book was also published in our local magazine (photo). I hope this will also give us another little push … we are approaching the halfway mark … Thank you very much!

Today, after the walk through the Zizerser Ochsenweide, the donation target jumped to 20 percent with the update of the Wemakeit website. Thank you very much for this generous, great donation! And many thanks to all supporters!
