At Iman Ama, we create handbags that honor both Afropean heritage and sustainability, bridging the beauty of our roots with the needs of today. Each design showcases the brand’s instantly recognizable silhouette, inspired by the natural curves of the African calabash fruit. The custom design hardware draws inspiration from modernist jeweller Art Smith’s undulating pieces.

We present to you our Automne-Winter 2025 pre-collection, set to launch next fall. It reimagines the brand’s iconic designs with new colors: Sand, Stone, and Black.

This season we introduce :

• ADUT MINI Bag : a compact version of our iconic piece. Still feminine with its rounded silhouette, it adapts to dynamic lifestyles thanks to its practical shoulder strap.

• TAFI Bag : a revisited baguette bag, elegant and timeless, featuring a thicker handle and a modernized closure. Versatile, it pairs perfectly with a night out or a dinner with friends.

• ERTA Bag : a spacious bag designed for work and travel, with a sophisticated belt closure, room for a laptop, and practical interior pockets.

Transparency, quality and sustainability.

We believe in respecting nature’s renewable cycles, supporting local craftsmanship, and creating products designed to last.

We work exclusively with European partners who share our values and prioritize short supply chains. Our prototypes and production are handcrafted in Italy, close to our raw material suppliers.

We have selected certified materials from European bio-innovation, combining durability and performance.

• OHOSKIN® : a high-end plant-based leather, made from Sicilian orange and cactus byproducts, sourced from agri-food and cosmetic waste, and combined with bio-based plastic.

• VEGEA®: an innovative Italian grape-based leather, made from grape waste sourced from the by-products of the wine industry, consisting of 42% grape pomace and 58% bio-PU.

• Hemp textile : the linings are made from certified 100% European hemp textile, free of harmful chemicals. Unlike cotton, hemp requires minimal water and no additives for cultivation.

• Palladium : a polished palladium finish is applied to our custom Italian metal hardware, offering a bright silvery-white tone that adds a contemporary aesthetic to the bags.

We need your support to take the next step. In order to grow our in-store sales, we need to build up inventory. Stores often work with young brands on a consignment basis, without making direct purchases.

A major opportunity has opened up for us: showcasing our bags in Paris this autumn, through a strategic partnership with Reiner at Printemps and Galeries Lafayette.
