«Investigation of different approaches and limits of human portrait as one of the key genres of photographic medium is one of the main motives in works of visual artist Martin Gabriel Pavel, who is working on multi—phase international project Daily Portrait tenth year now.»
Portraits of 365 naked people rolling down a hill. Daily Portrait Switzerland.
It is great fun and mental relaxation to see the world from the inverted horizon. One does not have to parachute or do other acrobatic stunts for such an experience. All you have to do is climb a hill, lie down on the grass and start rolling down or doing somersaults.
It is interesting to see in the photos a naked human body captured in motion and in unusual positions. Facial expression, muscle contraction, everything is real.
Daily Portrait Switzerland follows Dadaist and surrealist tendencies in art.
At the end of 2022, a printed book of 750 pages should be created from the photographs taken. 250x176mm. Swiss binding. High quality paper. English language.
This is what I need backing for / You can take part in the photo shoot
I need money for the production part of the project (to take photos) in Switzerland.
In summer and autumn 2022, I plan to hold the sixth year of the Daily Portrait project in Switzerland. I plan to take pictures of 365 people. Anyone over the age of 18 can take part in the photo shoot. I take photos of anyone who signs up. I don’t choose models. If you want to participate in the project, write to me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I will send you more information.
Thank you very much for your support.
