How do you feel your body?
The idea for DIV’IN grew from my experiences as an artist, dance teacher, and physiotherapist. It all started from an observation of something troubling: the way I sometimes feel disconnected from my own body while trying to keep up with the fast pace of modern life.
DIV’IN invites us to pause and reflect, offering a playful counterpoint to the standard ideals of beauty that society often imposes. While one model celebrates the body in all its natural beauty, another — the conventional model of beauty and elegance — can distance us from having a healthy, positive relationship with ourselves.
Through choreography and dance, I want to explore what it really means to appreciate and truly feel our bodies. If my body were made of gold, how would I treat it?
Together with our team, we invite the audience to step into a vibrant world of textures, questions, and dimensions that the human body reveals. We hope to spark reflection and inspire a deeper apprecia-tion for both their own bodies and the bodies of others.
