Our project is special because ...

We both had the sadness of being affected by cancer, losing both of our dads before their 60th birthday.

Reaching the finish line of our first common marathon and doing so by raising funds for this cause is particularly close to our hearts and will give us wings!

We need your support to collect by the end of May at least CHF 2,000.- for the McMillan Cancer Support Foundation, partner of the Edinburgh Marathon, which offers support to cancer patients and their families.

Each kilometer is symbolically represented by CHF 25.- but all donations are welcome ! Even if you want to sponsor 100 meters :)!

Thank you for your support !

Why Scotland ?

Bagpipes, whiskey and hagis…

Why we chose the country of the Highlands? Well it’s (also) a bit of a combination of circumstances… On one hand the desire to travel after more than 2 years of pandemic… On the other hand family obligations and the need to find a compatible schedule with our respective children…

Dates that match, a DNA test carried out for fun which revealed some little more Nordic origins than supposed for Seb :) acheived to convince us about the destination : it is there that it will happen, and «it had to be done like that».

So in «bravehearts» mode but with only our legs as weapons, we will try to overcome the Scottish climate to reach our goal: to cross the finish line!

(And no! There is no chance in insisting, we will not run in kilts!)

This is what we need backing for

Macmillan Cancer Support is one of the largest British charities and provides specialist health care, information and financial support to people affected by cancer. It also looks at the social, emotional and practical impact cancer can have, and campaigns for better cancer care.
