A piece of heaven on earth - that’s what it’s all about
Between 200 and 500 bikers come together at the EMC Rally to fellowship, play, pray, ride out and celebrate. There are spiritual contributions, workshops and opportunities for exchange with the aim of being filled with the love of God, bringing a piece of heaven to earth and thus carrying strengthened signs of hope home and to our fellow human beings.
Switzerland as an island of high prices
Many participants come from countries with wages that are not as high as in Switzerland. This is why our costs for accommodation and catering (BigMac index 7.73) are relatively high. However, in order to enable as many people as possible to take part, we try to keep the prices as low as possible and have budgeted a loss of around CHF 20,000, which we want to/should/must cover with sponsors and donations. Despite a few generous donations, there is still a considerable amount missing to cover further costs such as translation technology, music technology and helpers’ goodies.

Many small contributions make a big difference! Here are a few examples from the budget. Leader for workshops CHF 1’000.- per day, moderator Saturday evening CHF 500.-, music band Saturday evening CHF 1’000.-, worship band CHF 2’000.-, infrastructure (technical equipment) CHF 2’000.-, translators and technical equipment CHF 2’000.-. We are also happy to receive non-monetary contributions (active contribution such as assistance/co-organisation on site or donations in kind - you can find more information on our homepage).
At the start of the preparations for this event, we have already experienced many great moments and things that have come together like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle to form a picture. The final preparation is slowly beginning and many small details still need to be put together. We are really looking forward to the event, which will be a great community event thanks to your help.
