Hi friends!
I just wanted to send a quick update to let you know how the project is going.
Maybe you’re asking…«Why are you sending your updates in English!?» Well, since you all come from different regions of Switzerland and speak different languages I figured it would be easier to write to you all in English, I hope that’s ok :-)
In the first week of January I was able to go to Lausanne and work on three songs of the EP Flower. They have been 3 days of fun and creative work with Joris Amann in his small studio in the beautiful city of Lausanne. I was able to stay at my aunt’s house in a village nearby and loved to spend some of the evenings after a day of long work exploring Lausanne and enjoying the beautiful Lac Leman. I totally miss living by a lake, since I’ve grown up a few minutes from the lago di Lugano.
Back to the EP Flower! Next steps are:
- planning some cool foto/video shoots with my talented photographer friend Gabriel
- recording vocals (my own + my brother and a friend helping out with their beautiful voices!)
- working on the arrangements
- planning the release on social media
- and so on
Thank you guys again all so much for your help and financial support for this project! I appreciate it so much and I can’t wait to show you the results :)

Dear backers of the «EP Flower» project,
First of all, THANK YOU, thank you so much for believing in this project as much as I and the people working on this EP do. I appreciate you so much and I can’t wait to tell you in person and give you a hug!
It has been an incredible month for me: It was a scary thing to venture for the first time in the crowdfunding world. Is this going to work? Are people even willing to invest in my music? Why would they even care?
Then after only a few days it was clear that you guys were totally backing this project and sharing my excitement for the amount growing and growing.
Well, a month later, the whole sum has been reached and I am so so glad to be able to go back to Lausanne in January and keep on working on these sweet five songs. And all of this is because of your support!
Now that I’m able to see the list of supporters I feel incredibly humbled and grateful, not only for friends and family supporting this project, but as well for the people I don’t know personally - thank you for your trust and incredible generosity!
The 5000 CHF will be invested in the producing of the songs. The EP, as you know, will probably be released next autumn with a big fat party in my town Chur, but we’re planning to tour to some places in Switzerland as well. So you better watch out, we might be coming to your town too! I’d love to see you lovely faces at a gig in the near future :-)
The rewards are going out in the next few weeks. I will do my best to send your promised reward as soon as possible! I will also contact some of you to set up the music / Italian lesson, as well as the serenades ;-)
