CD recording with 23 euphonists, 1 pianist and 1 percussionist
The aim of this project is to bring together 23 euphonists from Valais around the professional soloist Gilles Rocha in order to create a CD whose profits will be donated to the association Parkinson.
Innovative musical project
23 euphonists aged 14 to 54 and representing the different Valais regions gather around a common project. Exchanges through music are encouraged by the interpretation of a duo named «Epic Euphoniums» and other arrangements (quartets, sextets, pieces for ensembles) that complete the musical program. Note that 4 young women take part in the project and will be showcased in a 100% feminine quartet. The euphonium is admittedly an instrument largely unknown to the public but it will be the star of this project, which can rely on the exceptional participation of soloist Gilles Rocha to make the most of its potential. Damien Darioli on percussion and Olivier Magarotto on piano will also contribute to this project.
