Donations for the Callias - Abo 26/27 at the Musikverein
The Callias - Abo 26/27 at the Musikverein Vienna is a season consisting of four «dialogue concerts» along an imaginary European Silk Road.
What are our plans?
Four concerts at the Musikverein Vienna (fixed dates, fixed seats) Programs ranging from Bach to Beethoven, Mozart, Mahler, and others, supplemented by dialogue texts/fragments
What will your donations be used for?
To cover production costs, and our communication campaign (so that the project reaches its audience).
Why we believe that this is necessary?
These are not just concerts, but an open dialogue, an invitation to enter an ongoing worldwide discussion : music is linked to an App, with texts, ideas, and conversation prompts that get you, as a listener actively involved in the process.
The concert series has a clear thematic focus: the European Silk Road as a cultural space in which different voices, traditions and perspectives interact.
Four fixed dates at the Musikverein Vienna, with fixed seats and a seasonal dramaturgy that unfolds throughout the year.
Programmatic originality: Bach in dialogue with Russian poetry, Beethoven in conversation with Confucius, and other evenings from Mozart to Mahler that place classical works in new cultural contexts.
Europe as a place of shared values.
Why are we doing this?
Because the Musikverein is a place of inspiration, where listening also means exchange and encounter. The Callias subscription brings the fruits of this global dialogue on the App and the platform to the main hall.
Because Europe needs spaces right now, where differences are not used to foster conflict but can be experienced as cultural diversity. The European Silk Road is a strong, positive narrative for this and an idea of our time.
Because the concert series is more than four individual evenings: it creates continuity and a community of people, who want to explore the necessary questions of our time through music.

We need support for this
What we use the donations for:
The donations primarily enable the hall rental (60.600,00 Euro in advance), invitation and communication campaign (78.432,00 Euro) for the Callias subscription 26/27 at the Musikverein Wien.
Specifically, we use them to finance address rental from the post office, printing, postage, and shipping of the invitations, as well as the design and technical implementation of the landing page with a partner in Finland and digital subscription registration via the post office.
How do we say thank you?
Artists from the ESR - App, musicians from the SRSO and other partners have contributed personal rewards for you from which you can select what fits best for you. Thank you in advance for your support !
