I’m Faye B and my mission is to spread R&B/Soul across Switzerland with my debut EP «The Journey, Vol. 1» and with it, take a stand and make a statement. However, i’m in need of your support!

Info on the EP:

After various single releases («Finally», «Any Other Way», «Used To Love Me» and «Ready For Goodbye»), Top 10 UK Soul Chart and UK Urban Club Chart positions and big performances across the country and across the Atlantic, it’s now time to finally release my debut EP «The Journey, Vol. 1» internationally.

This conceptual mini-album, consisting of 6 tracks, was created and written with top producers and songwriters from the UK. The result is a diverse and mostly groovy body of work which takes you back to the «golden age» of 90’s and early 2000’s R&B. It tells my own personal story of falling in love, betrayal and self-respect.

«The Journey, Vol. 1» will be officially released on Monday, 19th September and become available on all digital music stores (iTunes, iGroove, Amazon, Google Play, etc.), as well as on CD.

«What?! R&B in Switzerland?!»

Time and time again, people have tried to convince me that R&B won’t work in Switzerland. But i don’t agree. Just because we don’t have a scene out here, that doesn’t mean that people don’t like or feel it. On social media, in the clubs or at my own gigs i have witnessed that people of all ages really enjoy and consume this kind of music. Us artists simply don’t have enough platforms (especially in Switzerland).

This is why i want to take a stand and make a statement with my debut EP «The Journey, Vol. 1» by showing the nay-sayers out there, that R&B indeed CAN be accepted and supported in this country. Of course i won’t be able to single-handedly change the world, but it’s still a step in the right direction. After all, you have to stand for something in life! ;-)

Why your contribution is so important:

Creating and marketing a quality product from beginning to end is very expensive. Up until this point my partner and i have financed everything out of our own pockets, which means: without a label, investor or donations from cultural organizations. Producers, engineers, studio musicians, rap feature, photographer, hair and make-up, website, mixing, mastering, CD production, distribution, promotion, location and promo material for the upcoming release party at Guggenheim in Liestal on 17th September – it all adds up to an enormous amount. We’ve already covered the biggest chunk ourselves, but to ensure that nothing else gets in the way of this EP and the release party, we really need your financial contribution for the end run!

I want to thank you all so much in advance for your support, it really means a lot to me!
