Francis Baudevin at KBCB

Following a major solo exhibition in 2023, the Kunsthaus Biel (KBCB) is publishing a comprehensive monograph on Swiss artist Francis Baudevin. Designed by graphic designer Nicolas Eigenheer and richly illustrated, this publication includes texts by Marjolaine Levy and Marlene Bürgi, as well as an exclusive interview with the artist by Lydia Yee. With a print run of 1,000 copies, it is published by art publisher JRP.

«Poptones»: a long-awaited publication!

Despite Francis Baudevin’s indisputable influence on the international art scene, the last monograph devoted to his work dates back to 2009. This publication project, the result of close collaboration with Francis Baudevin himself, aims to fill this gap by revisiting his work and artistic career, with a particular focus on his most recent works.

Your participation in this editorial project

The budget for this project is CHF 40,000 and includes, in addition to the authors’ fees, translations and proofreading, graphic design, and printing and production costs. Two-thirds of the project has already been funded: your contribution will enable us to complete the budget!
