About the Artist
From Shadow to the Light – Debut Solo Piano Album by Laszlo Racz.
My name is Laszlo Racz, I am a classical pianist born on Aruba in 1994 and raised in a musical family. I discovered my passion for the piano at an early age and have dedicated myself to the instrument ever since. I studied at the Music and Arts Private University of the City of Vienna and completed both my artistic diploma in Vienna. I have performed at international festivals and concert series across Europe, both as a soloist and chamber musician. My repertoire ranges from the structural clarity of Bach, through the emotional depth of Schubert and Brahms, to the intense virtuosity of Rachmaninoff.
About the Project
I am now preparing my debut solo album titled «From Shadow to the Light», to be recorded and released in May 2026. This CD represents a significant artistic statement and marks the launch of my international career as a professional pianist.
The album’s repertoire includes four major works from the piano literature:

J.S. Bach – Toccata in C minor, BWV 911

Franz Schubert – Wanderer Fantasy, D 760

Johannes Brahms – Intermezzo, Op. 117 No. 2

Sergei Rachmaninoff – Variations on a Theme by Chopin, Op. 22
These pieces are connected by an emotional and stylistic journey: from the discipline of Baroque, through Romantic lyricism, to the expressive depth of the 20th century. The concept of «From Shadow to the Light» reflects not only this musical trajectory but also a personal one — the determination to pursue one’s path despite obstacles.
This solo CD will be recorded in a professional studio in Austria (studio currently being selected). It will serve as an artistic calling card for festival applications, concert opportunities, and public outreach — an essential step in establishing myself within the classical music field.
