LSZ setzt sich für einen Dialog zwischen Wissenschaft und Gesellschaft ein und trägt so zur Wertschätzung und zum Verständnis von Wissenschaft bei. Zusammen mit Samer Angelone organisiere ich das Global Science Film Festival.

After finishing my postdoc in human-elephant conflict, I switched to filmmaking. I was convinced that learning filmmaking will make me a better scientist!
Nowadays, my main job is teaching ’Filmmaking for Scientists’, ’Storytelling & Storyboarding Science’, and ’Video-journalism for Scientists’.
I hold two PhDs in Film Studies and Biology.
