What is Hajar Hajji?
Hajar Hajji is a brand that goes far beyond just creating handbags. It is an invitation to discover exceptional craftsmanship, inspired by the earthen architecture of southern Morocco and local traditions.
But Hajar Hajji is also: ✔ Timeless and sustainable creations, crafted from raffia and Premium quality vegetable-tanned calf leather. ✔ A tribute to the textures and tones of Moroccan kasbahs, where raw materials become works of art. ✔ A brand committed to the independence of women artisans, providing them with job opportunities and valuing their craftsmanship.
One of its emblematic creations, «Kasbah 11», carries the essence of Morocco’s kasbahs. Inspired by the Aït Ben Haddou Kasbah, built in the 11th century, it reflects the soul of this architecture through authentic craftsmanship.
With the same desire to honor cultural heritage, «Albi Bag», inspired by Berber weddings in southern Morocco, pays tribute to ancestral ceremonies through meticulous craftsmanship. This limited edition, exclusively available on WeMakeIt, perpetuates a rare and precious artisanal tradition.

How will your support be used?
Today, many artisans work under precarious conditions, without contracts or stable wages. Your support will allow them to work in a dignified environment and help preserve a unique craft tradition.
With your help, we will be able to:
✔ Open a workshop in Marrakech to centralize production, improve logistics, and provide a workspace that meets industry standards. ✔ Set up a local showroom, offering visitors an immersive experience while supporting direct product sales. ✔ Upgrade tools and provide training, passing down artisanal skills to future generations. ✔ Ensure fair contracts and begin paying wages to artisans in southern Morocco. ✔ Eventually establish a workshop in a southern Moroccan villages (Aït Ben Haddou, Skoura, Agdez, Nkob), allowing women to work locally in a suitable environment.
