I introduce myself under the name Dy’ and I am an artist living in Switzerland, passionate about drawing and comics. From the start of my adult life, I quickly found myself having to get by, finding myself dependent on social assistance, almost on the street, and this continued for several years. Despite these challenges, my passion for illustration has always accompanied me and I have always had the conviction that I would one day manage to make a living from it.

A little over five years ago, I finally found stable housing that allows me to devote myself fully to my artistic project. This has become much more than a simple passion, it has become my driving force and my main activity. I also joined the French-speaking Swiss comics association «Splotch!», which motivated me even more. However, due to my psychological problems, I find myself unable to carry out a traditional professional activity or find a job in the food industry. Meeting my needs and accumulating funds to invest in my project are therefore considerable challenges for me.

For four years, I had to fight to obtain authorization to launch my business while continuing to benefit from the aid that is essential to me. I finally received approval to open my online store, a crucial step for me. However, I find myself facing a major challenge: raising the necessary funds to start my online business.

Today, I turn to you to ask for your support. I am looking for solutions to finance the launch of my business and thus realize my dream and make a living from my creations. I believe in the value of my project and am determined to make it a reality, but I need an initial boost to get off to a good start.

What would I offer in my shop?

In addition to the usual great goodies like key rings, pins, stickers and personalized illustrations, I also offer original textile prints made by hand using stencils and a paint roller. So, having rarely had a lot of means, I try to make my products as affordable as possible. I also like to include a wide diversity of representations in my illustrations to create a safe, open and inclusive space.

This is what I need backing for.

I need sending equipment, the means to finance the first months of costs relating to my website, funds for future stocks, as well as various essential equipment to make my project a reality. Basically, your support will allow me to launch my project online with a certain initial security.
