Fighting injustice to restore Villa Isabel – a place of peace, retreats, and renewal.
This crowdfunding campaign is about fighting an unjustified fine that guesthouse and retreat center Villa Isabel is being forced to pay due to the negligence of the tax advisor.
Villa Isabel is a beautiful guesthouse set on a park-like property, just a 10-minute walk from a sandy beach. It serves as a retreat space for yoga groups and as a peaceful summer getaway for visitors. It is also where I create my online yoga courses.
While the fine has not been paid yet, we will soon have to cover the cost. I am taking legal action to challenge this, and if I win and recover some of the money, I plan to reinvest it into much-needed improvements for Villa Isabel.
The house is old and still requires some renovations. While we have done quite a few major reforms already, still one bathroom lacks a shower, and one apartment is missing a kitchen.
If this campaign helps me move beyond just addressing the urgent financial challenge, I dream of seeing Villa Isabel rise from the ashes like a phoenix, transforming it into an even more welcoming and fully functional space.

Villa Isabel’s story began in 2017 with the first renovations. Once home to a Catalan painter, the house retains its artistic charm and still holds part of his private art collection. His former painting studio was transformed into a yoga room, and after the pandemic, the guest rooms became fully equipped apartments.
We strive to be as eco-friendly as possible, using LED lighting, solar panels for hot water, a saltwater pool, an osmosis water filter, and a peroxide water system. These improvements come at a high cost, leaving us without the financial cushion to cover an unjust fine.
If we don’t pay immediately, the accumulating interest could jeopardize both the house and the business. We are fighting to reclaim this money and, once recovered, reinvest it into much-needed upgrades—renovating a bathroom and installing a kitchen in an unfinished apartment.
