'HERE’ Méander album project

This is what it's all about.

Hello dear!

I’m Méander and I’m currently fulfilling a dream. After two years of songwriting, many processed emotions and thoughts, the time has come again. In November, my third MÉANDER album ’HERE’ will be released live and online! I need your support for the costly realisation of this heartfelt wish.

The songs on the new album are about the connection between humans and nature, about encounters with animals, about relationships and love, about letting go and accepting change. In a poetic way, the here and now, the presence and presence that invites us to be fully in the moment and from there to meet each other and the world with our gifts, is sung about.

The songs are arranged with professional musician friends who beautifully support the songs with cello, guitar, bass and double bass, percussion and drums.

Every note, every tone, every line, every image and every melody of this new work contains a lot of my heart and soul. Be curious and let yourself be surprised!

My project is special because ...

The special thing about my album project ’Hier’ is that it takes you on an inner journey. Each song has its very own character and tells its very own story. Hier’ is an album that plays with different rhythms and sounds and has a lasting effect.

In the songs, you can discover the beauty of the world around you and immerse yourself in it while listening. ’Here’ tells of dancing hands, a wild river landscape and its stones, friendship and love, of fog and a phoenix rising from the ashes, of shining, extinguished stars, mountains and encounters with a deer through to majestic whales in the deep ocean blue.

The 13 songs on the album encourage you to live your inner strengths more, to let go of the old, to recognise the new and to make room for it in yourself. I experienced all of this while writing and composing the songs and I’m really looking forward to sharing them with the world soon.

The album was created in collaboration with many wonderful musicians and masters of their craft. It is very diverse, from folky to pop and indi.

You can look forward to a multi-layered work full of poetry, depth and lightness.
