Origin of the Idea

We are striving to create a platform for the exchange, networking, competition and inspiration within different genres of Hip Hop culture. Gaskessel Bern is an ideal venue due to it’s central location as well as it’s many facilities. The various formats of battles, workshops, lectures and film address not online participants of the scene but are aiming to involve a wider audience as well in order to provide insight and information on the colorful and creative world that we call Hip Hop. The event would like to inspire and enable people of different generations and backgrounds to connect and exchange.

  • 14h00 – 17h30 breakdance workshops with Crazy Legs (Rock Steady Crew) (not included in the day pass!)
  • 16h00 – 18h00 free graffiti workshop mit Jazzy Jes & EZ Mike (Rock Steady Crew)
  • 20h00 – 22h00 «Frienemies» (breakdance battle)
  • 23h00 – 00h30 «King of the Beats» (music production competition)
  • 00h30 – 01h30 «Move the Crowd» (DJ & MC competition)
  • afterwards: party with DJ Skeme Richards (Rock Steady Crew / Sesion 31)
