Dear Solar Enthusiasts,
some of you may have already received a notification or taken a look at the update of the crowdfunding page. We would like to take this opportunity to inform you once again about the outcome of the crowdfunding campaign. Thanks to you and 156 other like-minded people, we were able to raise the impressive sum of 25’353 CHF in just one month. What a suntastic achievement, which we have only accomplished thanks to your dedication! We truly appreciate your support and feel this is an encouraging sign in our attempt to help our university accelerate the transition to a low-carbon energy transition.
Since we didn’t reach our ambitious goal of raising 35’000 CHF in one month, the money was transferred back to the individual backers a few days ago according to the wemakeit guidelines. This is not the outcome we had hoped for, but we will continue to work with the university and its stakeholders to ensure that the project can be realized one way or another. We have received a lot of positive feedback, and we continue to believe in the value of this project as an important stepping stone for HSG to achieve their carbon neutrality goal by 2030. We hope this will encourage you to invest your returned money in the next climate project! After all, we only want to make a difference .
Thank you again for believing in our project, and we hope you will continue to fight for a greener future! If you want to know how our solar project is developing, you can check our website for updates or follow us on LinkedIn:

Dear Solar Enthusiasts,
Some of you may have already received a notification or had a look at the update on the crowdfunding page. We would like to take this opportunity to inform you once again about the end of the crowdfunding campaign. Thanks to you and more than 150 other likeminded individuals, we managed to raise the impressive amount of 25’353 CHF in just one month. We truly appreciate your support and think that this is an encouraging sign of support for our attempt to help our university accelerate its low-carbon energy transition.
Unfortunately, the rules of the crowdfunding platform are quite strict, and as we have not reached our ambitious target to raise 35’000 CHF in one month, according to the wemakeit policy, the money will be transferred back to your account automatically in the next 14 days. This is not the outcome we had hoped for, but we will continue to work with the University and its stakeholders to make sure the project can ultimately be realised one way or another. We have received lots of positive feedback along the way, and we continue to believe in the value of this project as an important steppingstone for HSG’s contribution to the Race to Zero. We hope that this encourages you to take your returned money and put it into the next climate solutions project! After all, generating impact is all we want.
Once again, thank you very much for believing in our project, and we hope you keep fighting for a greener future!
