All-embracing artwork
As a supplement to my new solo CD album «heavy», I am presenting a special creative artistic portrait VIDEO about myself. The task might sound simple enough: draw a portrait of yourself as an artist. Trust me, it gets quite complicated once you start working on it. I most probably needed this specific CD to make this video happen. So here I am, the person YOU see in the video. Isn’t this intriguing? It is wonderful to create an all-embracing work of art. I am beyond excited to present my CD, my FILM and my ART. Excerpts from my CD have also been included in the video. Each piece was dedicated to me specifically by its respective composer: Johanna Doderer, Nikolet Burzynska, Juan Manuel Abras, Bence Hartl, Federico Placidi and Filip Sande. The film-makers are Ulli and Erich Haderer.

It is important for me to tell a true story about myself as an artist – and remain authentic all the while. I would like to motivate people to change something in their lives and maybe even get inspired by my video and try out new things :-) As an artist, I have great responsibility towards art in general. «BE YOURSELF». When you give from the heart, you have given everything. They say it is challenging to «sell» contemporary projects. I am, however, convinced that we need such projects for our personal development and growth. Such contemporary projects are needed for our education, and they are tied to our evolution as human beings. This is the reason why I cherish working together with contemporary composers. It is beyond exciting to see a work of art take form, to experience art being born through me in a way that it has never been done before.
I need your support
My recently released «Heavy» CD is my business card as a solo violinist. In order to bring music and people closer to each other, in order to get invited to festivals to perform, and in order to get engagements for concerts, it is imperative to have a professional video. I am overjoyed to have been able to make it this far…but I do need your support to provide retroactive financing for this video. My amazing friends, Ulli and Erich Haderer (the film-makers) have generously pre-financed this project for me, so I would need your support in order to pay them back. With your help, I hope to maintain and advance my role as an ambassador for «contemporary music» and motivate others to embrace modern projects. Music should not only be striving to please, it should also disturb, to make uneasy and to challenge…it should be «heavy»… I intend to bring people closer to this new world using my artistic energy and interpretation skills.
