Introducing InBa 2025 - India Basel Festival- In Basel:

A bold new dance festival bridging the beats of Basel with the soul of India. This isn’t just another show but a movement. Launching this year, InBa will have exhibitions, open classes, dance residency, lecture demonstration, performances by renowned dancers and workshops. From global rhythms to local roots, InBa is where cultures connect and dance speaks.

Our project is special because ...

InBa is a first festival format bridging art and artists of India and Basel. This will be a continuous effort to bridge India and Basel’s dance scene, to bring audiences closer to the artists and to promote Indian dance in various forms.

We have curated an exhibition on Indian dance for all ages as a guest at the Foyer public at Theater Basel and offering open classes to try Indian dance forms. It will be followed by one week long residency with artists coming together from all over europe for a Dance lab. Concluding with Performances & workshops of two renowned dancers from India.

InBa 2025 | India Basel Festival happens from May 27th - June 8th in Basel

  • May 27–31: Exhibition on Indian Classical Dance As a guests at the Foyer Pubic, Theater Basel
  • May 31: Free Open Class (for all ages) As a guests at the Foyer Pubic, Theater Basel
  • June 2–6: Dance Residency - And She Spoke
  • June 6: Lecture-Demonstration Workshop by Sushant Jadhav Vaibhav Arekar
  • June 7: Performance Night Vaibhav Arekar Renjith Choorakkad
  • June 8: Dance Workshop - Vaibhav Arekar
