For my thesis I’m going to do an interactive trackplan of Adelboden-Lenk. I’m going to record it with a 360 degrees camera. The goal of this project is to help decide which skie area to choose.

This is what it's all about.

I’m Roberta De Rinaldis and I’m studying Digital Film Production at the SAE in Zürich. I’m in my last semester and and have started to work on my bachelor thesis. For my project I decided to make an interactive track plan.

My project is special because ...

In every ski area you have an interactive map and small description of the area and the tracks. Even though these maps and descriptions are available it is still pretty hard to imagine what the tracks actually look like for potential new skiers and snowboarders. How steep are the tracks, how wide are they etc. To solve that problem, I created this project where I am going to film every track. Afterwards they will be put together in separate videos so in the end everyone can explore the whole area by deciding whichever way they want to take. These videos are going to be recorded with a 360 degrees camera, so everyone can look around to see what everything looks like.

This is what I need backing for.

For the implementation of this project I need a 360 degrees camera, a laptop and some gear. As you can probably tell, it will get quite expensive.
