What is this about?
The new feature film «Katrina’s Dream» by Mirko and Dario Bischofberger is soon ready. But first we want to record the originally composed music score with the official orchestra of Lecce, our hometown in South Italy, in the newly restructured Teatro Apollo from 1926.
The score will be composed by Hugo Lippens, who was nominated for «Best Young European Composer» at the World Soundtrack Awards. Hugo also scored the last feature film by Academy Award winner Pierre Bismuth. He lives and works between Bruxelles and Lausanne.
Can you help us out with this undertaking? In exchange, you will be able to add your name in the music credits of the movie or get homemade olive oil from our crop in South Italy directly shipped to your home!
The film
«Katrina’s Dream» is the drama of a woman who tries to restore her wish for a family after her husband returns from a fatal accident. But her dream soon turns into a nightmare.
Disguised as a fable without a moral «Katrina’s Dream» circles around the eternal human need to have children in an age in which relationships get progressively shorter, while life span continues to increase due to modern medicine – even beyond death.
Help us to finance the original movie score…
Similar to the Oil-for-Food Programme of the United Nations in 1995, we are here launching an Oil-for-Film and Credits-for-Film campaign to finance the recording of the originally composed music score of our upcoming movie «Katrina’s Dream» with the musicians of the Lecce orchestra. The film score will be recorded with the official orchestra in Lecce, conducted by Maestro Realino Mazzotta, in the newly restructured Teatro Apollo from 1926.
… and add your name in the film credits of the movie or get your own homemade olive oil from our crop in South Italy!
In exchange for your financial support you will be able to add your name in the music credits of the movie by becoming the official sponsor of a specific instrument and musician (see «Rewards» on the right column).
Alternatively, you can also get some homemade olive oil from our crop in South Italy directly shipped to your home! The olives cultivated on our land are of the locally called «Leccino» and «Ogliarola» types and are, of course, cold-pressed before being bottled for fresh usage on your table. The bottles will be shipped directly to your home!
