There's nothing quite like Panto!

Since 1994, the Basel English Panto Group, has been producing fun, family entertainment for the Basel Community, sharing one of Great Britain’s traditions to kick off the holiday season in December.

My project is special because ...

Years of happy audiences are testimony enough that people in Basel enjoy the group’s annual panto production. And it is produced with an all-volunteer cast, crew and committee, dedicated to bringing as professional a panto as possible to Basel.

This is what I need backing for.

Last year, the performing arts were especially hit by the pandemic. BEPG was not exempt and despite a creative attempt to film parts of the performance and combine it with streaming for audience participation, revenues were not at their usual level. This year, the group needs funds up front not only to insure that «Alice in Wonderland» takes place, but to keep keep pantos coming in the future. There are a variety of rewards to choose from - a token of our appreciation - or you can skip to the end and donate without claiming a reward.
