Pinball Bally KISS 1978 (its history)
In 1978, Gene Simmons, bassist of the legendary band KISS, partnered with the brand Bally pinball machines to produce a KISS pinball machine. This pinball is undoubtedly the cult object that every serious collector of KISS dreams of owning
Now unfortunately like many rare collectibles: this particular KISS pinball has passed through many stages. Of course people have played it. But some have also beat it, poured alcohol and fizzy drinks over it, used it as an ashtray and wrote (or even carved their names) on it. Our Flipper has lived this.
Complete new Restoration
But there is still hope. The idea is to take the machine right back to the day it was released in 1978. We have the opportunity to bring it back to life! At the time, the flipper was made of wood, prayed mostly with stencils and was full of cables: this is exactly the case of Kiss’78 machine.
In September 2015, KISS released a new and very modern pinball. A revolution compared to his great-grandfather. But our team is ready to meet the challenge of turning the ’78 back on again!
Our desire is to offer our visitorsthe chance to play not only with the new Pinball 2015 (which is absolutely great). but discover (for younger children) and review (for the not so young!) Bally Kiss Pinball 1978.
The job is far from easy, the wooden box is split, almost all the lights are destroyed, the score panel and the signs are not displayed.And over and above all of this: there is no music. We must be crazy?
Our goal
- Completely change all the electronic parts. Place LEDs everywhere. A total overhaul of the electronic program which will be new and exclusive to this pinball.
- Re-Build and Re-paint the entire bodywork.
