Reissue of the children’s meditation book «Silence within»
Over the past years, the book «Silence within» has helped many children learn how to pause, calm down, and better understand their feelings. Hundreds of educators use it in classrooms and groups, while parents use it at home. And it turns out that children often embrace meditation much more naturally than adults.
I receive many messages from teachers and parents asking where the book can be purchased, as the first print runs quickly disappeared from the shelves. Even now, I regularly hear the same question: «Will this book be available again?»

The children’s meditation book is coming back – help it reach schools, kindergartens, and homes again.
I believe this book should return to children. And to help you understand why I’m asking for your support today, I’d like to share one (not entirely) sad story.
Some time ago, when I had just started meditating, a simple thought came to me: «If this can bring such benefits to me – why isn’t it taught in schools?»
That question led me to explore how meditation could be taught to children. After five years of working with children in schools and kindergartens, the book was born. I gathered everything I had learned: exercises I practiced and created, practical advice, and recommendations. My intention was simple – to help as many teachers and parents as possible learn this practice and be able to share it with children in schools, kindergartens, and at home.
As it turns out, the book was quite successful – we even had to print a second edition, which is rather rare for mindfulness books.
But then life happened.
The publishing house that handled the book went bankrupt due to poor management, leaving me without my royalties and some readers who had ordered the book without receiving it.
At this point the story could continue with frustration and complaints. But that wouldn’t change anything – it would only create more sadness and resentment.
So instead, I decided to send the disappointment and frustration out to gather spring flowers and try once again.
I bought back the publishing rights, and now I come to you with an open heart, asking for your support in bringing this book back to life. I truly believe it deserves to return to the shelves of classrooms, groups, and homes.
In return, I can offer a few good karma points – and the possibility to pre-order the book or the book together with the meditation cards. If you strongly believe in this idea and would like to help the book appear sooner, you can choose a signed copy or order several books at once (they make wonderful gifts for schools and kindergartens).
I also know that because of the publisher’s failure there were people who ordered the book but never received it. This time everything is transparent: the crowdfunding platform WeMakeIt works on an «all-or-nothing» principle. If the target amount is not reached, all contributions are automatically refunded. If we succeed, the book will go straight to print.

If you feel this book deserves to be in the world, please support the project and help spread the word to those who might benefit from it.
About the Author and the Book
Ugnius Leimontas is one of the first enthusiasts of children’s meditation in Lithuania, a teacher of mindfulness and self-inquiry, and by children most often simply called the Teacher of Silence. For more than five years he explored ways of cultivating awareness in children, attended courses in Lithuania and abroad, and tested dozens of different meditation, relaxation, mindfulness, and heartfulness exercises.
Through this work a unique and time-tested collection of meditation practices was created — most importantly, one that children truly enjoy.
«Esu Tyloje» (Silence within) is a practical guide to mindfulness and meditation exercises for children. The book includes more than 60 carefully tested meditation and mindfulness practices that children have responded to with enthusiasm. All exercises are presented in a playful and engaging format, making them easy to use both at home and in educational settings.
Simple breathing, relaxation, and visualization practices help children calm down, focus more easily, rest more deeply, and discover the ocean of calm that lives within them — a place they can return to whenever the world around them becomes too noisy or chaotic.
«Silence within» is an invaluable resource for anyone who wishes to support the development of mindfulness in children.
