learning by gaming – WHAT?! An innovative project in work integration

Do you also believe that personal development is underrepresented in our education system, or are you a passionate gamer who wants to harness the potential of games for the learning process?

Then you’re in the right place! Help us defeat the furniture-eating room monster together! Support us in bringing life to the new spaces at LevelHub! Our vision is to create a colorful and playful space for innovative learning methods and personal development.

In our new spaces, we offer gaming and learning sessions for various target groups in need of support:

  • People looking for jobs (Workforce integration)
  • Young people applying their language skills (Migration)
  • People in disadvantaged life situations (Inclusion)
  • Learners and students (Education)

Your engagement helps people in challenging life situations and strengthens the image of games in society.

How did it all begin and who are we?

In 2022, Cristina and Marc, with their backgrounds in business management and coaching, laid the first foundation and initiated a project with the vision of combining gaming and personal development. Luca joined the team, bringing a psychological and graphic perspective. When Michael, a former participant of a pilot session, unexpectedly joined, we were able to count on gaming expertise and organizational skills. Arji (our newest member) has made a giant leap over the past few years and now supports us in teaching the migration class.

Since then, under the motto «learning by gaming», we have been using video games in a targeted way to make behaviors and thought patterns visible, as well as to promote future-relevant skills.

That's what makes our project so special!

Gaming has long since arrived in the mainstream - there are over 4 million gamers in Switzerland! WeAnd that’s exactly where we pick people up! Playfully, in their familiar environment, in their comfort zone.

We want to position gaming as a valuable tool for promoting future skills, because we develop skills and discover talents while learning through play. The aim is for people to become aware of their impact and potential in a protected environment. This promotes the ability to live together in a trusting and constructive manner in a playful, fun and motivating way. It leaves a positive mark and strengthens authenticity, independence and self-confidence.

Be a part of shaping the future and taking learning to a new level!
