At LEGSI we acknowledge the challenges experienced by college students upon completion of a college degree: students often do not meet the practical skills essential to launch a successful career in the professional world. For that reason, we are addressing this pressing requirement by offering an online resource and training platform provided by groups of college students supervised by professors who in turn will help entrepreneurs and small business to address pressing business needs on a variety of topics. This will allow college students to apply their academic knowledge while engaging in solving real-life problems, thus addressing the need to improve their practical and professional skills. Furthermore, this partnership will also provide to entrepreneurial ventures the opportunity to meet with talented minds while formulating cost-effective, innovative and workable solutions which will greatly benefit their companies’ operations and growth.
How does it work?
This concept will begin to be implemented through the development of a high-quality, interactive and user-friendly content website where such collaborations will thrive. This implementation will be preceded by a pre-launch conference promotion in Paris which will be podcast internationally. The cost of such initial endeavor is EUR 7’000. Hence, the benefits are twofold: students will gain tangible professional experiences for a minimum of six months making them professionally marketable by the time they graduate; and entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to meet talented minds supervised by participating professors. Further benefits include: competent mentoring for entrepreneurs and their business ventures through an array of consulting and training sessions; and the formulation of cost-effective, innovative and workable solutions which will greatly advance their companies’ operations and growth.
