What is it all about?
In this 5th edition of the festival on the 25ths of August 2024 we invite you to embark on a journey into Argentine folklore with:
• Exceptional dancers: Teresa Furno & Andrea Cioni (Association Passion Folklorica, Italy)
• Songwriter, guitarist and interpreter carrying on the musical tradition of Cuyo: Martín Troncozo
• Songwriter, guitarist, interpreter enriching the world-music & in particular Zurich stages with his slight «Cordobes» accent: Pablo Allende
• First violinist of the National Orchestra of Argentine Music, brining those precious Santiago del Estero tunes: Damián Noriega
On Sunday, August 24th in Anzère, we await you with this program:
11:00: Dance introduction class
12:00: Music introduction class
13:00: Shared meal
14:00-18:00: Peña with live music and dance performances
We wish to keep the event on donation basis & affordable for participants of any income or traveling from regions with less favourable economical situation than Switzerland. We believe that it will encourage visits of dancers & musicians from abroad and offer an opportunity for the international Argentinian folklore community in Europe to come together.
However, to make this ambitious program a reality this year we need your support!
Escape the hustle and bustle of daily life and reconnect with nature at the fiesta!
The festival offers an array of original workshops for attendees, ranging from group sessions to personalized classes in music, dance, body expression, and yoga.
For our younger attendees, we’ve curated a space filled with engaging and educational games.
Join us this August in supporting a truly distinctive and sustainable event, as we collectively strive to make a positive impact.
Great music, plenty of dancing, delectable food, and refreshing drinks await you.
At the pinnacle of the Alps and our festival lies the embodiment of human values, sustainability, and the celebration of art and culture.
Why dreaming? Start living!
This is what I need backing for:
We are committed to keeping AgoFiesta donation-based and accessible to everyone, despite rising costs. By raising funds, we aim to ensure that this unique event remains open to all, regardless of financial means.
The money raised will primarily cover expenses for the artists, venue rental, and healthy food. Your support is crucial in helping us maintain the inclusive spirit of the festival and continue to create magical moments through music, dance, and art.
