The roadmap of my education
In August 2022 I will start the training as a naturopath with federal diploma specializing in Traditional European Naturopathy (TEN). Part of the training is learning manual therapies, which includes massage, foot reflexology and Dorn therapy. After completing the module «Medical Basics» included in the training course and successfully passing the manual therapies, I will be able to offer massages and initial therapies recognized by health insurance companies. The entire training to become a naturopath lasts 4 years, each with a fixed school day during the week and additional weekend modules.
Why do I need your help?
The costs of the entire training up to the federal diploma are very high (CHF 65’000.-). In order to be able to finance all this, I will be working 80% of the time during the entire training. However, since my income alone is not enough to cover the costs, I will have to earn some extra money on the side. My goal is therefore to offer manual therapies as soon as possible to finance the rest of the training and to cover my fixed costs. But before I can offer the manual therapies, I have to learn the basics. Here I am dependent on your help.
With your contribution you help me to attend the first courses before the actual start of the training in summer. Thus, I could fully concentrate on the school during the first semester and in winter 2022, after completion of the first module, already recognized health insurance massage.
Why now?
Until today, I have been professionally accompanied by medicine in the broadest sense, a subject that has always fascinated me. After an accident eight months ago, I intensively studied what else is possible besides conventional medicine to get back on my feet (literally). By chance, I came across the training to become a naturopath. Since then, I can’t get rid of the idea of becoming active in this field myself. I would like to become a naturopath. As I mentioned before, the financial aspect is a huge obstacle that I am somehow trying to overcome. I am convinced of my statement that money should not be the reason not to do an education, respectively not to be able to do it.
