In our Manufaktur NÄHBAR you will find just these little treasures, unique pieces and small series of individually manufactured homemades by creative minds.
With a little personal commitment you can also realize your own idea and use it to write two stories - the creation and the giving!
In our NÄHBAR we have all the tools and space to share ideas, to develop and implement joint projects.
The Idea
Sewing, knitting and crochet is back in fashion. Homemades, produced as part of creative hobbies, are much more than just small gifts for friends and family. It creates unique pieces or small series in stunning quality. The best of these pieces will be offered in our NÄHBAR. Of course, you might also use the online shop.
Inspired by the technical FabLabs, I am convinced: «sharing is cool». Therefore, we offer not only the finished products but also a meeting place for sewing-professionals and those who want to be. You will be able to take advantage of great workplaces with sewing machinery, lots of accessories and experts to realize your own projects. Be surprised with lots of great extras and tools giving the final touch of your very individual brand.
The Plan
- November 2014 - Grand opening of our Manufaktur NÄHBAR in the region of St.Gallen.
- Offering of the best homemades in our shop and online.
- Providing workplaces with many extras available - so to speak, a «creative Fitness Center».
- We love supporing you to realzie your ideas in small batches.
The Start
As you know, one has only one chance for a first impression and if it comes to the final startup – funding is required. That’s why we need your support. We want nothing given. As a reward, we send our own first products into the race. The materials for the production are pre-financed by us. The receipts of the products, will be fully invested in the opening of the Manufaktur NÄHBAR to create a new platform for DIY professionals.
