From 3D modeling to real objects
My name is Grigory, and I am a young 3D artist based in Yverdon-les-Bains. I study 3D creation, modeling, digital design and modern tools for visual production.
I started learning 3D printing with an old 3D printer. It helped me understand the basics: preparing models, testing print settings, working with materials, fixing errors and turning digital ideas into real objects.
Today, this printer no longer works. But it gave me something important: the motivation to take the next step. My goal is now to launch a small local 3D printing service and support people and projects around me.
What I want to create
With a professional large-format 3D printer, I want to explore real commissioned work and practical production.
I would like to create prototypes, master models and custom parts for different fields: repair models for plastic car parts, technical prototypes for machines and industrial components, study models for orthopedic or ergonomic concepts, and visual prototypes for designers and creators.
I am also very interested in creative projects: toy prototypes, mascots, cosplay elements, custom characters, props and models used to make molds for personalized gifts or small series.
Because I am training as a 3D Generalist, I can not only print existing files - I can also model objects from scratch, adapt designs, prepare files for printing and help bring an idea from sketch to physical prototype.
Why I need your support
Your support will help me buy a professional large-format 3D printer and the first materials needed to start working seriously.
The funding will be used for: – the Elegoo OrangeStorm Giga 3D printer; – filament and test materials; – nozzles, tools, spare parts and accessories; – first test prints and technical setup; – platform and payment fees.
This printer will allow me to work with larger objects, test more ambitious models and develop real experience with client projects. My goal is to learn by doing: to print, test, improve and gradually build a small local activity around 3D modeling and 3D printing.
