Sustainable nature experiences in Sweden - Skålsjögården Timber Lodge
Our vacation resort is surrounded by beautiful nature. We have a good infrastructure and therefore have a good basis for offering magical vacation experiences in nature. Sustainability plays a major role here (more on this in the next video). Now we would like to take a further step and expand our facility by adding an area in which we are building 4 more stugas (bungalows) and a Nordic spa. The stugas are to be built in the forest with a large living room window facing nature, so that the natural feeling is optimal.
The project is planned in stages and will be implemented depending on the level of funding. The higher the funding, the closer we get to our goal. If we achieve partial funding, the other expansion stages will follow in the coming years.

Sustainability as an overall concept
You only value what you know. Only what you value, you love and only what you love, you protect! We want to offer sustainable vacation experiences that bring our guests closer to nature. Our guests should spend a good and relaxing time in the beautiful nature of our region. On their return, our guests should be motivated by the wonderful nature experiences of their vacation to take more care of nature in everyday life and to lead a more sustainable lifestyle. All of this should happen simply through the formative nature moments during their stay with us. In addition, our vacation resort is already very sustainable. We would like to deepen this focus with this project and spread our ideas in the region as ambassadors for sustainable tourism in the future.

Our concept, your support
As we are a start-up, our turnover is still manageable. Nevertheless, we would like to give our idea in the field of sustainable tourism a boost, as we believe that our mission in terms of sustainability should not be postponed. We no longer want to just dream, we want to act, so you can act too and do something good. With your support, you are not only helping us to drive our project forward, you are also helping to promote sustainability in our society and you are helping our entire region to develop with the help of sustainable tourism.
The first stage of the project is planned for spring 2024. At the beginning of summer, when the meltwater is gone, the foundation work including the complete development is planned. No work is planned in the summer, during the main tourist season. The buildings should then be erected in fall 2024. The interior work is then planned until Christmas 2024.
