New bus for donkeys

Presentation of our activities and the fund research project for the bus

The association «Les Rois-Mages» supports the Servion asinotherapy center which has been working since 2015 with miniature donkeys with people affected in their health or social life in order to contribute to their well-being. The donkeys are transported in the canton of Vaud in a bus to meet people who are bedridden or have limited mobility, very often living in institutions. The donkey transport bus has been damaged and cannot be repaired. We are looking for your help for the acquisition of a new vehicle to resume our activities with the donkeys as soon as possible.

Our project is special because ...

The specificity of our activity is to move our miniature donkeys to the bedside of people who can no longer move. Very often bedridden or in a wheelchair, living in an institution. We urgently need a new vehicule, ours being in total damage. The transport of our miniature donkeys cannot be done in a classic equine vehicle (van or coach) too big and wide for our little donkeys which are 70 cm at the withers. We are looking for a used vehicle type Renault Master H2 L1. These are smaller than normal dimensions for a van to which we will fit a ramp.

Purchase of a new bus and an adapted ramp

The money collected will be entirely intended for the purchase of a new second-hand H2 L1 type bus, probably Renault or Fiat, and the purchase of a ramp to the size of the bus.
