This is what it's all about.
I will be one of almost 50’000 runners who will run the New York Marathon this year. To make every step count, I hope to raise funds to benefit Aiducation and ANY (America Needs You) - two non-profit organizations that give young people access to education.
Together we turn running into impact!
Being born in Switzerland, I have had the delight and privilege of accessing a strong education system. As I run the New York Marathon - a lifelong goal of mine - I want to make every step count towards helping others in less fortunate circumstances to have access to education.
Working together, we can ensure that the next generation builds the skills, confidence, and desire to learn and push progress forward.
This is what I need backing for.
Two non-profits will receive the money raised through this campaign:
Firstly, we are supporting the Swiss-based for-impact organization «Aiducation» which provides scholarships to students in African and South East Asian countries who can’t afford to go to school. As a longtime supporter and ambassador of Aiducation, I assure you that they do fantastic work.
Secondly, we are supporting the US-based «ANY - America Needs You». Through fellowship, mentoring and coaching programs, ANY enables young people who are first-generation students to succeed at what nobody in their family has ever done before: graduate from a university.
