Ofwaste Eyewear

Ofwaste frames are made from polymer recovered from local partners. The first stage involves recycling and then transforming this polymer into a raw material that will be used to make plates for cutting the frames. The second stage involves cutting and assembling the frames, consisting of temples and inserts, and finally finishing the frames by hand. This second stage takes place at Marcus Marienfeld, an eyewear manufacturer based in Brig for over 30 years. Thanks to his expertise, I’m able to offer high-quality frames that combine innovation and craftsmanship.

My project is special because

Ofwaste frames combine high standards, aesthetics and durability, and stand out for their high quality. A concentrate of know-how and technology, every stage in the manufacture of these unique frames takes place within a 50km radius in the heart of the Valais Alps.

This is what I need backing for.

Thanks to your support I’ll be able to invest in machinery, in particular a press and a shredder, which will enable me to optimise the production of plates for frames and save precious time. Thank you for helping me take Ofwaste to the next level!
