Only 1% of the hops needed by Swiss breweries is produced on Swiss soil. We are going to create an organic and eco-friendly hop farm, a plant so crucial to artisanal beer production. Thanks to our project, Swiss breweries will be able to source local hops that adhere to sustainability issues.
My project is special because ...
We are three cousins. The first one is a farmer, the second is a lumberjack, and the third is an industrial management engineer. These three skills will complement each other perfectly to establish our agricultural structure and operate the hop farm. Hops are a climbing plant that can reach up to 12 meters in height, requiring substantial infrastructure.
