Percussion for Costa Rica

This is what it's all about.

Our latest project in Costa Rica is a school band at the Escuela Villa Ligia. Don Richard needs more instruments so that he can take on more pupils. This will enable music to reach even more children and young people, regardless of their social background.

Since music is an essential part of our lives, we are particularly pleased with this support project.

During her language study trip in 2017, Andrea worked as a volunteer in the library at a school. She discovered that there is little budget for anything that is not part of the core curriculum in Costa Rica. The first call for donations for books for the library resulted in others for a playground and sports equipment. There was even an organic garbage can for the school canteen. What happens next?

Don Richard orders the instruments locally, and we pay the bill. This way, we know that the money goes to the right place and that the local economy will benefit.

We are already looking forward to the Gallo Pinto Dinner with the 8 fastest «big donors».
