PRIM - between caffeine flash and coffee indulgences
Our music is a bit like ordering a scoop of everything at the ice cream parlour and then mixing it wildly. From modern jazz to funk and soul to classical, there is something of everything. Always searching for the appropriate sound, we are influenced by jazz greats like the Esbjörn Svensson Trio, classical luminaries like Johann Sebastian Bach, new music composers such as John Cage or ethnic music, among others. Nevertheless, we always create something of our own in the end.
The new PRIM album shows tranquillity and intoxication
What do Muhammad Ali, Frederic Chopin, the orbits of the planets in our solar system, the numbers 7-5-3, Beat Generation-style poetry and Moroccan Gnawa music have in common? Difficult question, right? We have the answer: they are all part of the upcoming PRIM album. Cause in October 2023 the time has finally come: An album full of contrasts and yet with a common thread, with classic melancholy and minimalism, rhythmic soundscapes, punk and drum & bass. Everything packed in the unmistakable PRIM sound.
This is what you'll get
In order for this album to be released (both in physical form as CD and LP as well as digitally), we want to raise the production costs (recording/mixing/mastering, studio musicians, etc.) together with YOU, our loyal supporters. Therefore, we in the PRIM team have come up with some very special goodies that are only available through crowdfunding.
