Urial Center - particular protection - scientific research - enjoyment of wildlife.

My name is Shiva, I studied innovation law in Iran. Before coming to Switzerland (in 2018), I have worked for 10 years as an innovation attorney in Iran. Despite my profession in innovation law, I am really passionate about nature, animals and their photography. My life is therefore a combination of law and enjoyment of innovations and creativity, especially creations related to the environment.

I was born in Iran in the town of Bojnord. This place is one of the few places on the planet that has for thousands of years been the habitat of one of the purest and most beautiful sub-species of the wild Iranian Urial sheep.

So, you can now guess my project! it’s simple: Supporting a center for conservation of Urial wild sheep, founded in 2019 by Hossein in my hometown (Bojnord). This center has now become a valuable model for scientific research, investments and environmentalists.

So let’s help this center continue together.

The Urial Center aims to expand peace, friendships and human relations

Hossein was fascinated by this beautiful species. This is why, with a good understanding of the climate change and the successive droughts which are now endangering the life of the Urial in this multi-millennial habitat, he created the specialized center for the protection of the Urial.

At the same time, he loved this place with its beautiful animal as an excuse to expand human relations around the world, peace and friendship among people and also to develop scientific research in the field of wildlife. With this vision, he dedicated 3 hectares of his agricultural land to this cause.

Thanks to Hossein’s efforts, this center has now become the destination of many photographers and lovers of this beautiful species, including me, who travel there from different locations or receive permission to visit it online thanks to CCTV cameras.

In addition, this center, during its short period of activity, has collaborated with several scientific researches, including master’s and doctoral theses, as well as with several press agencies, including the National Radio & Television of Iran.

What sustainable work will be carried out with your support?

Tragically, Hossein passed away suddenly in July this year! :(

This has doubled the problem. In other words, on the one hand, Hossein’s two sons, Arman and Arian, who should now follow in their father’s footsteps, do not have as much experience as Hossein; although they are as fascinated by Urial as Hossein. On the other hand, there are still unfinished parts in this center, which, given the start of the cold season in the region and the approach of the birth of the new lambs, their non-completion adds to the concerns every day .

With this insight, my husband and I are now trying to help the center continue its mission by supporting it. This center can establish a sustainable and inspiring connection between the wildlife of Iran and Switzerland and attract many enthusiasts to enjoy this area and the center.

Hossein’s death saddened us all! We would nevertheless like to preserve this precious heritage. It connected the hearts of many people from different parts of the world. As you can realized from the video above, some of the sectors that urgently need your financial support are: 1- Construction of the roof of two semi-finished shelters with a size of 200 meters: 3500 francs.

2- Purchase of solar panel plus other equipment such as battery and inverter, etc.: 2500 francs

3- Installing a fence in the southern part of the center (path length: 150 meters, fence height 4 meters): 2500 francs.
