The issue
Once a month, it happens. You know what’s coming. And you know what follows: the pain that digs deep into your belly. Sometimes into your back. Sometimes both at once.
You know the options. You’ve tried them all.
The hot water bottle that stays warm as long as you stay home. The patch that slips after an hour. The ibuprofen in your wallet because you never know when you’ll need it. Gritting your teeth and pushing through because meetings don’t take breaks.
A Groupe Mutuel survey found that one in five women in Switzerland suffers from pain at an 8 out of 10. For women under 35, it’s one in four. That’s hundreds of thousands of people who have to keep going every month, pretending everything’s fine.
Heat helps. That’s no secret. Most of us know it from experience. The problem? Until now, there hasn’t been a solution that’s practical, discreet, and truly wearable.
Until today.
Our solution: trumii
trumii is a heating belt you wear like a second skin.
It sits almost invisibly under your clothes, warming your belly and back evenly, staying warm as long as you need. No hot water bottle tying you to the couch. No patch that slides out of place after an hour.
You control the temperature. You decide how warm. You decide how long.
trumii fits comfortably under your clothes. At the office. On the bus. While shopping. Discreet and hassle-free.
It’s what we wished we’d had: practical, reusable, and honest about what it can do.
Here’s the first visualisation of the trumii heating belt. The final version is still in development and may differ slightly from this design.

Who we are
Mirjam and Patrizia had been sharing their everyday aches long before trumii – nothing dramatic, just the kind of things friends talk about: *«Really bad again today»* or *«I can barely move, but I’ve got to go.»*
Both turned to heat for relief. Again and again. Because it worked.
Then came the question: **Why isn’t there something you can just put on?**
They searched. They compared. They tested patches, ordered belts from abroad, jury-rigged solutions. Nothing worked the way they’d imagined.
So they made it themselves.
They are trumii. **Mirjam Flury and Patrizia Trunzo.**
How trumii works
trumii uses **graphene heating technology**. That means: no hot spots, no uneven warmth. Heat distributes evenly across the entire belt, directly to your abdomen and back.
The material is gentle on the skin, and the belt adapts to your body, staying in place no matter what you’re doing.
You control: *the temperature and duration*. Adjust abdomen and back separately, depending on what you need right now.
trumii is designed to **stay discreet under normal clothing**. It’s intentionally slim so it doesn’t get in the way of daily life.
What trumii doesn’t have yet: an app. That’s coming. But first, we wanted to perfect the essentials before piling on extra features. *trumii does exactly what it was built for. Well. Reliably. Now.*

Why crowdfunding?
Because we know trumii is needed – but we want to prove it before we produce.
We could have taken out a loan. We could have looked for an investor. We chose not to. Not because we lack courage, but because we don’t need anyone to tell us if the world wants trumii.
We want you to decide.
For us, crowdfunding means: We build what’s truly needed. With people who are there from the start. Not as customers, but as part of trumii.
And yes: If the campaign succeeds, we’ll have the proof we need to go into production. No warehouse full of belts no one wants. Just the exact number you’ve ordered.
What we need the money for
We’re already investing heavily in trumii ourselves. Product development, prototypes, trademark protection, consulting, setting up the shop, and countless hours of work – all funded from our own pockets. We’re backing this project with our own money and time because we believe in it.
The crowdfunding covers the next big step: the first production run. Our funding goal is CHF 30,000. Every franc goes directly into trumii.
Production (approx. 60%)
The first production series: materials, manufacturing, quality control. We’re working with an experienced manufacturer.
Certification (approx. 15%)
CE compliance, safety testing. Not optional. Mandatory. And rightly so.
Marketing and communication (approx. 20%)
So that women who need trumii can find out about it. Honest communication, right where you are.
Reserve (approx. 5%)
A buffer for the unexpected. We’d rather plan honestly than optimistically.
If we hit the stretch goal of CHF 40,000, the extra funds will go towards speeding up app development and a larger production run to lower the unit price further.
