Discovering and developing all rhythms/beats found in the Burundi Traditional Royal Drums Art. Dr. Justin Baransananikiye PhD (Music) has discovered recently that the Burundian Traditional Royal Drums Art contains a hidden treasurer of various African, and African-American and West Indian musical rhythms/Beats. Listed in 2015 by UNESCO as «A WORLD HERITAGE», Dr. Baransananikiye wants to have this Art developed soon in order to be shared with all nations and enrich the World Music repertoires.

My project is special because it will work for the benefit of the universal/global music culture uniting different musical arts from the five continents and organizing an international band of sixty (60) trained artists musicians/singers/dancers from various nations who will work continually to produce new songs in different international languages based on the rhythms/beats of the Burundi Traditional Royal Drums Art. The project will open the step of extension of this Art to other nations of the world through the creation of an international professional Ballet around the Symphony of the Burundi Traditional Royal Drums Art combining the participation of artists recruited from various nations. The ballet will perform weekly TV shows and will organize exhibitions tours on the five continents.
This is what I need backing for.
I launch this campaign aiming at collecting EUR 150000 (one hundred and fifty thousands) as a part of the budget in order to allow my team conduct immediately the following activities:

Visits to the eight (8) reknown Burundi reference rural sites of the Traditional Royal Drums including: Gishora, Higiro, Itaba, Makebuko, Bukirasazi, Mbuye, Kiganda and Bukeye. During these visits our team will work to record and make films of the drummers’ dancers performing at each of the sites. Our ethnologists/historians will make and record interviews with the elderly from these 8 selected locations in order to prepare for the publishing of a book untitled «A Concise history of the Burundi Traditional Royal Drums Art From the Setting of the Baganwas Dynasty in the XVth Century».

Create/Organize a band of 50 paid Burundian Traditional artists musicians/drummers and singers who will work to restore hundreds well-known traditional songs and compose many new more based on the rhythms/beats discovered from the Burundi Royal Drums.

Construction of a Professional recording/production studio at ’Institut de Musicologie de Gitega’ equipped with various African and American as well as West Indian and Western traditional musical instruments from different continents and countries. This will allow us to organize an international band of 60 other trained artists musicians/singers/dancers who will work continually to produce new songs in different international languages based on the rhythms/beats of the Burundi Traditional Royal Drums Art taking us to the step of extension of this Art to the other nations of the world.
