This is what it's all about.

Revox World will enter a new era from 2025: In cooperation with Revox Switzerland, a lively meeting place for music and technology enthusiasts will be created in Dietikon. Visitors can look forward to demonstrations, public tours and technical workshops that appeal to a wide audience. Around 85% of the historical devices are fully functional and are shown in exciting presentations. Revox World will be accessible during fixed opening hours or by appointment.

However, the realization of this project is associated with considerable challenges. The move and the associated investments in the new premises require financial support. Your help helps to preserve and develop Revox World as a unique place of cultural exchange and technical heritage. Together we can promote education, inspiration and enthusiasm for music and technology.

The special thing about my project:

From 2025, Revox World will open in Dietikon - a fascinating experience centre for music and technology enthusiasts on 1000 square metres. Visitors will immerse themselves in the impressive history of Revox and Studer, two brands that have had a significant impact on the world of audio technology.

Willi Studer, the founder of Studer Revox, has written music history with his innovative developments in audio technology. With the aim of taking sound quality to a new level, Studer launched numerous groundbreaking products that became standard in studios and broadcasters worldwide. His vision and engineering skills led to groundbreaking developments such as the first multitrack tape recorder and the introduction of tape drives for maximum precision.

In the Revox World, visitors can not only experience the entire Revox and Studer history from historical classics to the latest high-tech equipment, but also experience first-hand how Willy Studer’s innovations revolutionized the audio world. Exclusive studio-quality audio demonstrations illustrate the outstanding sound quality and technological advancement of Revox and Studer.

Whether you are a lover of classic devices or modern innovations - the Revox World offers something for everyone and brings the sound world of Revox to life in all its facets.

To do this, we need your support:

In order to realize the move and the opening of Revox World in Dietikon, we are looking for a one-time fee of CHF 22,000. This amount covers the costs of moving the historical collection and setting up the experience centre.

Your financial support will be used specifically for the following areas:

Structural measures: Conversions and adaptations of the new premises at Lerzenstrasse 10 in order to optimally design Revox World.

Furnishing of the new museum: Thematically appropriate and high-quality furniture that offers visitors an unforgettable experience.

Dismantling of the old museum: Professional dismantling of the previous exhibition areas.

Safety: Installation of modern security systems to protect the valuable collection.

Fire protection measures: Compliance with all safety regulations to protect the exhibits and visitors.

Loan service: Safeguarding and managing the loans in order to preserve the collection in the long term.

Appropriate insurance: Comprehensive insurance policies to ensure the value and safety of the collection.

With your support, you will help us to set an important milestone in the history of Revox World and to preserve the rich history of Studer Revox for future generations. Every contribution brings us a little closer to this goal!
