Why this project?
My name is Jonathan, I’m passionate about sports, a dedicated father, and a member of the ASICS FrontRunner community. After running hundreds of kilometers, I realized one thing: we take care of our shoes when we buy them, but much less when it comes to keeping them clean.
Whether it’s running shoes or everyday sneakers, maintenance is often neglected. And the products available? Too chemical, poorly designed, often single-use, rarely sustainable.
I was faced with the following issues:
Sports shoes and sneakers wear out quickly if they’re not maintained.
Current cleaners are harsh, packaged in plastic, and poorly suited for regular use.
Result: waste, overconsumption, and avoidable ecological impact.
As an athlete and a father, I wanted a simple, responsible, beautiful, and effective solution. It took me more than a year to develop the formula and bring this idea to life.
That’s how RUN&SHINE was born: a new way to care for your shoes sustainably and responsibly.
