Every spring, several thousand fawns die a cruel mowing death in Switzerland. With volunteers and good equipment (thermal imaging drone) we can save lives from the air.

This is what it's all about.

According to official figures, 3,000 fawns (in Germany even more than 100,000) die annually in Switzerland during mowing by mowing machines, but the number of unreported cases is far higher. In order to avoid this animal suffering, measures must be taken

The use of a drone and thermal imaging camera is an excellent way to detect endangered fawns and bring them to safety with as little stress as possible. According to a study by HAFL Zollikofen, BFH Burgdorf and ETH Zurich (in 2010), this method even proves to be the most reliable and efficient of all methods used.

I must be able to finance such equipment and it ranges between 7000 - 10000 CHF.

My project is special because ...

As an animal lover, I am aware that I will have many assignments, having to get out of bed at 02:00 in all weathers to search the fields 1 hour later. This is based on volunteer work, so there is no compensation for the work done or the expenses.

The equipment costs a lot of money (7000chf +) and I depend on all animal lovers who agree to save many lives.

As a new member of the Swiss Fawn Rescue Association, I will attend the modules below in the following months, which will cost me 250. Afterwards I would like to join an association in the Bernese Oberland (region Spiez).

So a lot to do. However, my motivation remains to save lives!

This is what I need backing for.

Financing support:

From CHF 7,000 basic fawn rescue equipment (drone, battery). From 10’000 CHF professional equipment for fawn rescue (professional drone, several screens for herders, radio, harasses etc…)

I have set only 3000 CHF in the project goal, because every franc counts. With every additional franc I can complete my work sooner.

Thank you in advance to all donors. You have a heart for animals!
