Schweizer Stories

A journey through the air. From Basel, the border to Germany and France through switzerland to Martina, Engadin, the border to Austria. The film contains interesting and impressing Aerial films as well as «Focus Stories». The Birds eyes perspective allows us to show moving pictures of the landscape and the untouched nature which would normally be hidden from the human eye. While seeing the Aerial footage, the public will hear a bit about the Swiss history, in form of dates, facts and stories which will educate about the localities. The spectators will be taken from the dizzy heights back on the ground and reality where we show daily routines and stories of particular people. We follow the day of a RHB conducter who has the panoramic view of the mountains in his normal life while tourists may only have this beautiful prospect once in a lifetime. We want to give impressions of people and their lives which you can only get via personal and direct contact. The aerial journey continues to the next story. The birds eyes view isn’t just a transition between stories, it also gives the public the opportunity to lean back and enjoy the beauty of Switzerland from above. The whole film will be made in February, showing the Swiss winter magic which makes Switzerland so beautiful. In contrast to the alpine view and the mountains we go to the cities which seem like anthills in comparison to the alps.

An aerial view of Switzerland

A Dokumentation about Switzerland the people who live here. What’s special about Switzerland? What makes Switzerland special? What does the everyday life of a slopes caretaker look like? Who clears the streets after storms? We want to take all of that together with stunning aerial views in to one film. Why? Why do we invest all of that time for planning and actually shooting the documentation? And all of it for no money? Because we love it! Because it’s our dream and we want to realise it. Our motivation has brought us so far, now we need you to take us the last bit so we can start filming in February.

This is what we need you for!

To realise our project and travel through Switzerland in February we still need the last bit of financial support. We need money for food, fuel and places to stay thats the last missing part. Help us to master the last steps to the realisation of our dream.
