Who is behind Li.A.S?

As sisters, Anisa & Simea (Li.A.S), we had the privilege of growing up in a musical home. Early on we discovered a shared passion for describing feelings in musical form. It became our common processing place. As these songs are very personal, we never shared any of them publicly for a very long time. Until 4 years ago when we released a song publicly in the context of a tragic event. Since then we have been getting requests to share more of our songs with the world. It was a process to take this step. But as we have noticed how people have been touched by our music, we want to give our songs out as encouragement and help to speak the unspeakable.

Colorful music

We see music in art and art in music. Especially Anisa, because she perceives sounds as colors. That’s why she loves to paint pictures and thus make music visible. This aspect should also be included in our project. That’s why Anisa paints a picture for each song that matches its character and color. These pictures are then also available to our listeners and supporters.

What you invest in

We are doing this crowdfunding to be able to record our written songs in a recording studio. Our goal is to record and release 6 songs with your help. This as an EP (Extended Play - a «half» album). We are not short of ideas. Music is clearly a part of our lives. However, the reality is that professional sound recordings are very expensive. So we can’t afford to record all our songs in good quality on our own. With this project you support us not only for recording songs but also for further training in studio recording skills (mixing/mastering). Our still somewhat distant goal is to be able to record music in studios on our own. Both for our own songs and for young musicians like us who don’t have many options for recording.
