Yasmin Joerg ist 1989 geboren. Mit 16 Jahren entdeckte sie ihre Leidenschaft für das Filmemachen und hat seither schon einige Projekte realisiert. Sie studiert seit 2010 an der Zürcher Hochschule der Künste und arbeitet nebenbei als Cutterin bei Kurz- und Imagefilmen.

Aus allen Kampagnen, die bis Ende 2014 erfolgreich abschliessen, wählt die Direktion der Kurzfilmtage Winterthur bis zu drei Filme aus für Screenings im In- und/oder Ausland. Die Projekte müssen bis spätestens Juli 2015 fertig produziert sein, dürfen nicht länger als 25 Minuten dauern und keine Auftragsfilme sein.
